The Snowstar are conveniently located in West Ketchum just off the bike path and just one and a half blocks from the ski lift and the Big Wood River. There is one large outdoor hot tub, workout facility, underground parking with elevator access on the Snowstar complex. The units themselves are deluxe Gold-rated condominiums. Town is six blocks away with dining, are galleries and shopping easily accessible. The Snowstar offer the best in accommodation and location.The area offers a free shuttle that picks up just across the street which will transport you to both ski lifts on Bald Mountain, down town Ketchum, Sun Valley resort and Elkhorn resort. Sun Valley added a new Gondola on the River Run side of Bald Mountain which opened November 2009 for winter and summer use.

Lodging Features: This beautiful, light filled, single-level, top floor residence allows you to enjoy wonderful Bald Mountain and south-facing views from the day rooms, master bedroom and deck. NO PHONE IN UNIT. Completed in 2000, it features radiant floors in winter and air-conditioning in summer. Its ample, sunny deck is equipped with a gas-barbecue and outdoor furniture for you to enjoy meals in the sunshine or under the stars. Wireless Internet is available as well as a flat panel TV/DVD for your entertainment. The living room has a sitting area oriented around a gas log fireplace and includes a wall mounted 32"HDTV/DVD. There is a stereo CD player. This room has air-conditioning in season. The kitchen is a full-sized, U-shape that is bright, fresh and equipped for the avid-chef. It includes quality cookware, gas cooking, a central preparation station, microwave, dishwasher and an automatic icemaker. A gas barbecue is on the deck. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and living room and will seat up to 8 people. There is a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. There is a private ski & bicycle locker storage in garage. Covered parking with elevator access is also provided. This property will sleep up to nine people. There are lockers at the base of the Mt to store your skis and boots so you can hop on the free shuttle bus, which picks up right across the street, or take a stroll over to the River Run side of Baldy. The bike path runs north for 10 miles and south for 16 miles along the Big Wood River with great scenery to take in as you ride or walk. It is groomed in the winter for Nordic Skiing and is also available to ski on to get to the lifts. All you need to bring for your vacation with us in Sun Valley is a change of clothes and to go grocery shopping when you get here. Please bring a hair dryer as most of our condos do not have them. All linens and towels are provided for you as well as soap, shampoo and lotion.
