Sun Valley is where the original resort was built in 1936. Since then, a Robert Trent Jones golf course, Nordic Center, Ice rink, and other facilities have been added. It is approximately one mile from downtown Ketchum and two miles from the River Run lifts. Sun Valley Village has several restaurants, a movie theater, a deli/general store and other shopping. Most condos ResortQuest Sun Valley offers in this area are high demand during the summer but are less expensive in the winter due to their distance from the lifts. Units in Sun Valley Village tend to be older mid-class condos, with some deluxe private homes for families and executive groups.
