The Sun Valley, Idaho Wellness Institute, Inc. is an Idaho nonprofit corporation founded in 2005 to provide education on health and wellness though programs and events, including the Sun Valley Wellness Festival. The
Wellness Festival was initially created and produced by the Sun Valley/Ketchum Chamber & Visitors Bureau, and in 2006 the Sun Valley Wellness Institute took over the event. Past keynote speakers have included Robert Thurman, Michael Beckwith, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Deepak Chopra, Ram Dass, Marianne Williamson, Byron Katie, Dr. Marasu Emoto, Mariel Hemingway, Dan Millman and Debby Ford.
The Sun Valley Wellness Institute is dedicated to wellness of the mind, body, spirit and environment. The SVWI promotes the mission with the annual Sun Valley Wellness festival each year over Memorial Day Weekend, various events throughout the year, and through the SVWI website. The SVWI website seeks to offer resources for wellness in the Sun Valley/Ketchum and surrounding areas.
The Sun Valley Wellness Institute began with the creation of the Sun Valley Wellness Festival. In its 12th year, after much support and success , the Sun Valley Wellness Institute expands its efforts to bring additional wellness-orientated programs throughout the year.
