WinterSOL Festival!

Blending mountain culture with headliner music, The WinterSOL Festival brings top-notch musicians to Ketchum and Sun Valley March 5th and 6th, 2010. Guaranteed to be an energy-packed weekend, WinterSOL is a proud supporter of the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation and pleased to be a part of the Janns Pro-Am Celebration. there are three full days of alpine ski and snowboard racing featuring teams of local amateur talent combined with former Olympians, Pro-tour and World Cup racers for the Janss Pro-Am, followed by two HUGE nights of live music with artists like Soul Asylum, Cracker, The Wailers and Swoleen Members. WinterSOL Festival is poised to make the 13th annual Janss Pro-Am Classic the biggest and best event of the season!

About the WinterSOL Festival
The WinterSOL Festival celebrates mountain culture and connects those in attendance with winter resort living. Featuring headliners such as Soul Asylum and The Wailers during the street party ~ considered to be the Mainstage and located in the center of Ketchum on East Avenue ~ and favorites like Swollen Members in surrounding clubs and theatres, the WinterSOL Festival is guaranteed to be the biggest après ski party of the season.

About the Janss Pro-Am Classic
The Janss Pro-Am Classic, founded in 1998 by Beveryl Hay DeChevrieux, is held in memory of Bill Janss, the owner of The Sun Valley Company from 1964-1977, and an accomplished ski racer. The Pro-Am mixes a Pro Racer with four "citizen" skiers or snowboarders of all skill levels, to create 5-member teams that compete for prizes (including "best costume!") and titles. Pro-Am is billed "the best party on snow" and combines three days of social parties with on-snow fun. This year's theme is "Celebrate."
