Feb 24 - Mar 7 Company of Fools "The Glass Menagerie"
No play in the modern theatre has so captured the imagination and heart of the American public as Tennessee William’s The Glass Menagerie. This is truly the great American Theatre masterpiece. Company of Fools’ production features David Janeski, Adam Kroeger, Claudia McCain and Aly Wepplo.

“10 for $10”
The fools have added another program to ensure that as many people in our valley who would like to see theatre can afford to. It’s called “10 for $10.” Ten front seats are sold for $10 each on each night at the box office starting one hour prior to the performance. Company of Fools

Mar 4-6 Annual Janss Pro-Am Classic
The Janss Pro-Am Classic mixes a Pro Racer with four "citizen" skiers or snowboarders of all skill levels to create 5-member teams that compete for prizes and titles. This Pro-Am is considered "the best party on snow" and benefits the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. It is held in memory of Bill Janss, the owner of The Sun Valley Company from 1964-1977, and an accomplished ski racer. This year's theme is Celebrate and is held along with the WinterSol Fest to a truly memorable event!

From 1993 to 2000, Donna Shalala served as President Clinton’s Secretary of Health and Human Services. In 2008, President Bush presented her with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award. She served as co-chair of the Commission on Care for Wounded Warriors and is currently president of the University of Miami as well as a leading voice in the current health care debate.

Sweet Plantain is a string quartet that specializes in genre-blurring, original compositions and arrangements as well as contemporary works by Latin American composers, with an emphasis on improvisation. Sweet Plantain will also be doing a school residency in the Wood River Valley.

Mar 28 Galena Spring Loppett
For those of you who aren't familiar, the Loppett is a free ski tour around the perimeter of the Galena Nordic Trail System. The total distance is about 20 kilometers and takes most people an hour and a half to two and a half hours. There is always a mix of classic and skate skiers, so bring whichever equipment you prefer. We provide an aid station at the approximate 1/2 way point with baked goods, donuts?, hot and cold drinks and a few adult beverages.

Haute Trash Fashion Show, NextStage Theatre, 6pm    
A high fashion event to raise awareness for the need for recycling and compostable to-go containers comes to Ketchum from San Francisco. Garments made from thrown away materials such as Starbucks coffee cups will be shown off by local models of all shapes and sizes. The coming event is a response to the “sea of plastic” that now floats in the Pacific Ocean. This fashion show illustrates the ability for reuse and recycling through creative and humorous exhibitions. Outfits are designed from an assortment of thrown away materials such as construction fencing, food packaging, inner tubes, soda pop tops, coffee cups, plastic bags, and other salvaged materials. A true hometown celebration of the Old West and "Idaho's Hometown in the Mountains." Join us for a great 4th of July Parade on Main Street at 11am. Days of the Old West Rodeo, hosted by Sawtooth Rangers Club, is at the Hailey Rodeo Grounds. All concerts are FREE to the public, begin at 6:30pm and are held at the Music Pavilion on the Sun Valley Esplanade.  The Pavilion will open at 5:30pm and seat saving inside will be allowed if 50% of a group is occupying the seats. Familes with children are welcome ~ these concerts are appropriate for children over the age of 11.
